High Energy Company Poised to Redefine Healthcare

Pros

This is one of the best companies that I have had the opportunity to work for. Every day brings new challenges and the chance to make a difference while engaging in new activities to execute and complete tasks and achieve goals. Each person working here is very dedicated and truly invested in the ideals in the mission of the company. It is an energetic and positive environment where you can utilize your skill set to move the company forward.

Cons

Working at Nanobiosym means setting high goals and working within sometimes very tight deadlines. As a result, this tends to lead towards longer hours each day in order to achieve these milestones within set timelines. This is not an organization where one can simply work the bare minimum and survive, let alone do well with the company. Moreover, time off can be taken and in some cases is even encouraged especially after reaching key deadlines and achievements.

Micromanaging CEO with ego-motivated “business”

Pros

I did enjoy the meditative meetings that had catered Indian food. Those were the only moments I felt connected to anyone at the company and even that was forced.

Cons

I would be constantly called into the CEO’s office to check in on comestic changes to the office that she would never actually pay for (always was a waste of my time). I was 21/22 at the time and in charge of telling off 55+ year old men for using their phones (which aren’t allowed). CEO would pawn off any undesirable conflict like that onto me, if it wasn’t breaching confidentiality. There is clear favoritism among staff and preference goes to those who give up any semblance of a work/life balance. I’d love to know what they say to keep investors contributing capital. Very theranos. Also, once I left, there was no response on the multiple times when I asked for a letter of recommendation, which made it difficult to prove I had no gaps in my resume later on. They completely ghosted me.
