      A strong brand with intense work ethic

      Pros

      Great culture and strong leadership, some of the best minds in the business and an abundance of resources to expand and innovate.

      Cons

      Work can be incredible intense with long hours, working on weekends and late into the night was not uncommon. Nasdaq is a firm of casual perfectionists - the people are brilliant and the work they put out is brilliant, but that translates into a steep learning curve early on.

      Good benefits, good hours, interesting work at the beginning.

      Cons

      Culture went from being cerebral and academic to being woke. Better watch out everything you say or do. People who don't like it just stopped coming to the office. Probably because of lots of younger people in the office nowadays. They're supposed to give you energy, not suck it out of you... Compensation could be better. Some offices barely get any oversight from the HQ wrt to cultural alignment and things could go really bad. Not as fast moving or as innovative as working in other industries. Feels like a tech company of the 90s wrt to how people think about things.

      Hybrid work environment, decent benefits.

      Cons

      Teams are understaffed and burned out. Management does little to advocate for managing workload to higher-ups. Working outside normal working hours is the norm. "Old school" working mentality, old systems, depressing culture.
