      Pros

      Casual Dress code, some free stuff sometimes.

      Cons

      No vacation until you have been there 1 full year and then only 2 weeks with no increase ever. Vacation blackout from 10/1 through 12/23 so don't even think about it. Sick time accrues at 1 day per every 2 months after you have been there 2 months but don't ever take it or there will be consequences. Medical and such is rather expensive only have individual employee and family which is like 3 times the employee price so if you are just a couple you have no couple option. Parking is extremely limited and don't park in the owner or sons parking spots again there are consequences. Systems are antiquated and constantly not working. Communication is horrible so unless you are at the end of your career this is not the place to be. Company motto if there is competition we will buy it to eliminate it.

      There are no pros that I see. Maybe you become a better person knowing you don't want to be like them.

      These are some of the most dishonest employers I have ever worked for.

      Pros

      Nassau Candy is a company that encourages & rewards hard work. Yes the atmosphere is demanding, but that is why this company has grown every single year that I have been here. In todays world, it is very hard to find a company that offers job stability. Nassau Candy continues to add employees to the company rather than fire employees. I love that everyone at Nassau Candy (including the owners) are always approachable; it gives the office a family like feel. If you want to work hard, be rewarded & have a long successful career, then Nassau Candy is a perfect place!

      The company needs to have better training for new employees & needs to establish better communication amongst current employees
