Pros

Co-workers are extremely friendly. You really get the feeling that Nassau Candy is like a family and I was welcomed into the family very quickly. I also love the helpfulness of upper management. There is a constant open-door policy from everyone from mid-level managers to the executives. I also like that there are a lot of opportunities for growth within the company both within your department or into other departments.

Cons

The only challenge I can think of is that with all of the helpfulness of upper management, Nassau Candy does have multiple buildings that are spread across the country. Therefore, unfortunately, if you aren't located at the headquarters in New York, you don't often SEE the executives. However, the phones are great and they welcome calls all hours of the day.

The 2 owners are animals. It is disgusting how they treat people

Cons

They cut corners with everything they do just to keep themselves rich. Their food safety is scary - be careful. Don't work here unless you are willing to lower your standards and your happiness.
