      Just a stepping stone for your career. Nothing else.

      Pros

      Great health benefits, average 401k matching, ESPP and free food 3x week. People are nice, hard working and determined to make life changing products.

      Cons

      Promotions (very few overall) only for upper management and mostly based on favoritism, hard work isn't recognized, middle management is clueless, lots of politics, direction changes all the time, no career growth/opportunities, pay is low even compared to other biotechs.

      Pros

      Great people to work with. Meet a lot of amazing friends. Meals provided, healthy snacks.

      Cons

      New building open, new people hired with no direction. Some of the Managers and leads have no experience. Needed better decision making

      Pros

      This is a culture that takes care of its own. When our newborn son was diagnosed with cancer, the team at Natera rallied in support, including the executives. My managers gave me sufficient flexibility with work hours to manage hospital trips and schedule uncertainty, and many of the medical directors and scientists reached out to their colleagues around the country to help us identify the best medical path. The CEO personally helped us review the medical literature to better understand our treatment options. I am very thankful to work in a company with so much heart.

      Cons

      As we all work super hard to achieve Natera's mission, with the occasional roadblocks and disappointments along the way, the Natera community is built on a solid foundation with individuals who show a lot of heart and who look out for one another.
