Pros
It's been satisfying to contribute a meaningful impact to human health around the world, compared to some of the frivolous technology in the Valley. I found it meaningful to help families (many of whom have given up hope) to have healthy babies, and to support cutting-edge cancer detection. The team I worked with had really smart, interesting, curious, fun people. Work was stimulating though demanding. From my interactions I found CEO to be visionary and inspiring.
Cons
Challenging R&D timelines. Steep learning curve, but pushed me to get out of myself more than I thought I could do.
