Pros

If you want to be in the Intel community, its a good place. Got a security clearance. Saw some cool stuff that they were working on. Got my foot in the door to government/federal stuff which is huge in Washington.

Cons

government bureaucracy, not a good place for interns, no one seems to care what experience you walk away with. Human resources. Wasn't placed anywhere regarding what I was interested in. Hired for GIS stuff on my resume but ended up editing other people's writing all day
