Pros

Great place to start career in the intelligence community. Unique mission and a great deal of responsibility for entry level analysts. You have the ability to control your own career and can move around a lot while making a great salary.

Cons

Toxic work enviornment especially amongst senior analysts and managers. Worked with a lot of cynical people. Felt that management did not communicate well with employees or provide proper career development for future growth. Not a place for extroverts. Left after three years for a reason.

Cons

Work becomes repetitive and uninteresting, NGA doesn't have great communication within the agency.

Not for the overly ambitious

Pros

Great flexibility in scheduling, meaningful missions, stability, decent salary, and an abundance of training opportunities. This is a great place to work if you come in the door in a workrole you enjoy.

Cons

Too much bureaucracy, limited upwards mobility, poor support for personnel desiring to experience multiple work roles, and there is a desperate need to change policy and the way business has "always been done."
