Pros

1. Lots of learning opportunity. The work here actually includes research. 2. Excellent work life balance. Maybe the best in the industry. 3. Extremely friendly environment. Everyone is approachable. You talk to ur managers as if they are ur childhood friends. 4. Excellent Culture and values. 5. Company is very stable. They have very limited market but they are leaders in their domain. They don't have to look for their competitors.

Cons

1. They don't differentiate between a developer and a tester. So if you are unlucky you could be put to testing team. 2. Company doesn't want to spend much on its employees. They haven't increased their joining level salary for years now. So, they cannot afford to hire people from premium institutes anymore.

Pros

Cool people to work with, Austin is a great city, and every now and then a customer makes something truly awesome with NI hardware.

Cons

Growth opportunities are limited and the salary hasn't kept up with the times. Growing pains are showing as NI attempts to expand.

Pros

Great place to learn and work with talented people. They invest heavily on your training. Management is friendly and smart. Decent site in Austin. NI week is very enjoyable for employees.

Cons

They claim to hire only the best an brigtest. They hire above average performers, but they pay below average salaries. NI invests very cautiosly, you'll never see growth higher than 20% YoY, bonus will be small. If you work harder than everyone you won't get any rewards. Half of the skills you learn are non transferable.
