It's okay if you don't want to move up

Pros

It's an easy environment. The campus is very nice and the people are kind.

Cons

You can get by doing minimal work which often leads to people who are undeserving landing higher positions because of tenure and not skill. Intelligent people leave due to this all the time. (Not to mention the salaries paid are not close to similar positions at other companies)

Pros

The culture in the company is great, the schedules are very flexible and allow to have really good work-life balance, you get to learn very useful skills that are applicable to any other company.

Cons

The salary is below market average, although they have good benefits it is still below average. People become laid back in an environment without pressure.

culture is not enough

Pros

I've seen many departments over the last nearly a decade at the company and one of the big pros for NI is that you can try yourself in different situations, if you perform well they let you move around and do new things often.

Cons

Some things are just not as good as they used to be. Salaries are below the market average and seemingly this is fine with management but now when competitors on the job market provide similar freedom but higher salaries good people are leaving the company day by day. This should change.
