Pros

- The pay is not as bad as other reviews indicate. You can do better elsewhere, but you can also do a lot worse. - The engineers are really smart. - The work is generally interesting.

Cons

- Senior leadership is running the company into the ground. They alienated the broad base while chasing big customers. It seemed to be working for a year or two, but it’s crashing down now. - Due to the aforementioned leadership, layoffs are always around the corner. - They were acquired be Emerson, which is an uninspiring company. - NI’s customers also aren’t very inspiring. Test is a boring industry, despite NI trying to convince you otherwise.

Not the company it use to be

Pros

Decent pay, good benefits, interesting technology and application areas

Cons

No clear vision after Emerson acquisition. Employee morale is hitting rock bottom. Recent layoffs have resulted in a lack of people resources which have left departments being stretched too thin and overworked. Uninspiring
