Pros

The people were really friendly. I was able to take time off whenever I needed to to take care of personal business.

Cons

The pay was low out of the box and stayed there. One of my coworkers had worked there for over 13 years and was making only a few thousand more than when he started. Engineers with 7 years experience were making significantly less than their counterparts in other places in Austin. As a technician there was not a path to become an Engineer, even if you had since received a B.S.

Pros

Nice campus and facilities, average benefits package, working here can be enjoyable depending on the position, the department and the manager. It can be a good stepping stone to start your career.

Cons

Low pay. Favoritism exists. People are not treated equally. Two sets of rules. Even with a great performance review pay increases do not keep up with inflation. The culture is no where near what it used to be.
