Pros

Management trusts you to do your job. I don't feel micromanaged. The people here are friendly and easy to work with. Nice campus.

Cons

The health insurance could be better. The cafeteria food is very sub-par and not very good choices. Very few pay raises and when and if we get them, they do not help bring us to industry average and it's hard to keep up with the cost of living. The gym is really small. No profit sharing.

Pros

You can learn a lot in your field as you are exposed to opportunities. As with any opportunities you get what you put into it. At least at NI you can get them.

Cons

R&D management constantly make business decisions over customer impact too often. If you are raised through NI, you are told you are the "best and the brightest", even though you have no experience. So those who come in with experience run into a lot resistance and have to prove themselves more than the the "best and brightest".
