Pros

Everyone very nice and helpful, great work environment, very relaxed and low stress. Can get very good experience early in your career. Hires a lot of smart people. Safe work environment, never had a layoff, even during downturn. Benefits are good.

Cons

Career advancements can be tough although this is likely true at most large companies. Many people start their career here and leave to go back to business school. Salary is usually lower than peers.

Pros

Great culture, smart people, and a very approachable management make NI a comfortable and enjoyable place to work.

Cons

The starting salaries are on the low end, and it gets worse as the longer you are there. They do not give raises for promotions and yearly raises only sometimes cover the cost of inflation.
