Pros

Overall Good Benefits Relaxed Work Environment Youthful Work Environment On-Site Gym Openness of Management

Cons

Pay is below industry average Company is unwilling to let bad performers go. Instead all of company takes a 5% paycut when we could have easily let bottom 5 or 10% of bad performers go. Don't punish all of company just to continue to say "we haven't had a layoff". Company is too consensus driven. Some decisions may take weeks to make instead of leadership saying, "this is what we are going to do".

Pros

The employees are enthusiastic coming in. You do get the opportunity to take control. The ELP program is fairly relaxed and can be a good introduction into the company. The benefits package is about average. the company sponsored move saves a headache for anyone out of town but do not take the relocation money.

Cons

The pay is WAY below average for anyone with more than a bachelor's degree. In fact, you will get paid less than the national average for someone with a B.S. They tout the working environments but they have already issued pay cuts and the new hires are getting the shaft because of the economy. NI touts itself as putting the employees first but the employees are taking it just as rough as most other IT firms in this economy and they were hardly getting paid what they deserved before all of the cutbacks. Good for experience, but there are secretaries that like their job, only have a high school education and will be earning as much as you in 10 years.
