Pros

projects can be technically challenging

Cons

not consistent in rewarding achievement; senior management shy away from being accountable for their poor performance in engagement and communication, they like to introduce unnecessary channel and layer in communication that has led to inconsistent and confusing messaging to employees and preventing trust building

Pros

Flexible working hours. Constructive and supportive functional and local managers. Organization is organic, I am able to collaborate with official functional groups across the world to get things done. I am able to communicate with local engineers and colleagues to share potential benefits using technology or fruits from my group.

Cons

Decision is made based on consensus across an organic organization. Based on my experience, new employee would need to invest some of their personal time to understand and gain trust from peers locally or from abroad.
