-Gives you the freedom to work on any project you choose -The employees are always ready to help you when a problem is encountered -Friendly atmosphere

Cons

-You are requested to submit a prototype of a project in 2 months so it was a little bit challenging

Pros

"Work Hard, Play Hard" culture is great. Interns are assigned projects that are actually important & valuable to the company, not busy work. Living in Austin has been great; lots of amazing opportunities to get out and have some fun. NI was also very good with communicating the changes being made to the intern program due to the economy.

Cons

Compensation is somewhat less than other opportunities, but the fact that I'm actually busy with a project that I enjoy makes up for it.
