In my experience there are a lot of managers that were effectively individual contributors, but not good people managers. The people managers got their roles because they were effective at being an IC. I think NI needs to be more intentional about finding people with the right emotional skills.

Lack of management and soft skills within the operations department. Salary does not match with the workload and position demand

It recently got aquired by another company and the instability has made people unhappy. Also, other tech companies in the country pay better.
