Pros

This was a fantastic opportunity to apply newly learned business skills to financial planning for the parks. I absolutely loved. A great alternative to the standard MBA internship.

Cons

Lower down staff didn't always understand why we were at the Parks, but they were still generally supportive.

Great places to work, pay just average

Pros

You get to work in the greatest places on earth. There are some really great coworkers at the NPS.

Cons

Pay is just average. Housing can be poor. Most jobs are seasonal in nature and in the best case scenario, max out at 1039 hours. But that's not the NPS's fault really.
