Everyone loves the healthy snacks and there are many industry professionals you can learn from.

Cons

The executive office seems to support the hiring and career development of admitted racists and homophobes. The executive leadership has given full support to a new chief of staff who has made publicly bias and negative statements about African Americans and other minorities in general and the ones in leadership at the association. Statements were documented and verified, and the new chief of staff is still here.

Nice office location. Modern office space. Free snacks. Incredible potential.

Cons

I felt so much hope following the appointment of new GR leadership a few years ago that the culture of the department would drastically improve and evolve. I was wrong. She took an already battle weary team and stripped away the few shreds of dignity and self respect we had left with her aggressive and disrespectful management style which is equal parts anger, spite, and insecurity. I truly loathe working here. It is very sad to witness.

My best day at the National Restaurant Association is the day I walked out the door!!

Cons

Too many to post!! As a woman it shocks me that multiple complaints have not been filed against GR leadership for promoting a hostile workplace environment. If the HR team will not do anything about it, perhaps the DOL will!? Or maybe the NYT or Politico??
