Poor leadership

Pros

A few technically skilled team members who has expertise to perform their work. Decent work-life balance before things went downhill with new management. Standard benefits (vacations, PTO, health insurance)

Cons

The tech leadership really struggled with being open, supportive, or even just professionally respectful. There was a growing culture of fear in the department, where people didn’t feel safe speaking up or asking questions.
