The hours. Not enough pay for how much you do for your role.

Doctors are overworked. Eye exams are scheduled every 20 minutes. There are two follow-up exams scheduled with in an hour, each appointment is 15 minutes long. There were several times we were fully booked and the optical staff or store manager would force the doctor and tech to overbook patients and take in lots of walk-ins. This action caused patients with appointments to be seen late because management forced us to take in walk-ins and to be seen at once. Ignored doctors warnings about not being able to do a full eye exam. Constant harassment from store manager. Verbal, mental, and emotional abuse. Was denied breaks. Optical employees and doctors office tech denied to use vacation hours because manager didn’t want to approve it.
