Pros

Loved the people I worked with the impact we were having. Truly aligned with my beliefs. Also, a big enough non-profit that it had a corporate feel which can be a positive thing (good systems in place, resources, etc).

Cons

Constant issues with budget, laid people off, leadership change.

Great staff, great benefits, bad management

Pros

Smart, passionate, dedicated staff with great work-life balance and benefits. Open work environment with lots of team collaboration. Near the bike trail & backs to park with beautiful wildlife setting in Reston.

Cons

No opportunities for advancement, addiitonal training and limited work between departments. Major leadership/senior staff issues in leading staff. Morale is at an all time low.
