Pros

- Good place to start to get some work experience - Benefits are decent - Company culture is progressive in most parts of the country - Hours vary but are usually fair.

Cons

- Extreme amounts of red tape - Very inefficient management style - Constantly understaffed - Raises are a joke and don't keep up with the cost of living/inflation - Offices are located in cities that are not destinations for prime insurance talent which makes it difficult to hire effective employees. - Company is notoriously cheap in salary compared to industry average
