Pros

If you aspire to go into the office for 8 hours a day and sit around and make menial progress towards a goal 10 years in the future, this job is for you. The one true benefit I will point out is the stability (as long as the government can keep avoiding a shutdown, then everyone gets furloughed).

Cons

If you want to feel productive in any way, if you want work from home flexibility, if you want career progression, if you want pay progression, if you want to not sit in a stuffy 1960's building for 8 hours in a row, then this job is NOT for you.
