      If you like doing nothing all day and get paid then this is for you. Minimal expectations and no learning opportunities that are actually valuable. The people and coworkers are great here, so that is a plus.

      Cons

      Do not work here. Do not work here. If you are a recent engineering grad and got a job offer here don't accept it. The work is boring, unfulfilling, no expectations, no job growth, the skills are useless outside of the navy, and you won't use your degree at all in this industry. Don't do it. You will also never be more than a GS12 and there is no growth beyond that ever. They delayed my promotions and the shipyard is a boring, slow, and useless place to grow your skills.
