Pros
- Pay - Benefits - Unique subject matter (undersea warfare) - A good place to gain experience for a short period - Networking with people was relatively easy
Cons
- Lot's of project re-work and extra paperwork due to inefficient processes - Management teams in different program offices were not always on the same page - Defense contractors were difficult to work with and often unresponsive to government requests - No training for incoming employees - No creativity involved in the work, unless you consider finding shortcuts around beuracratic processes being "creative"
