      Pay and benefits are decent.

      Cons

      Working conditions are industrial in nature and facilities are not maintained well. Everyone is not treated with a trusting attitude and, overall, as an engineer it is a fairly unprofessional place to work

      Pros

      Management keeps up with required training, and I have a great chain of command. I also love the steady schedule, and the options to change hours (from the company's options) if needed. I feel a lot of support from management while working in the offices. There is also a lot of upward mobility within the command.

      Cons

      In the maintenance area of the building, I hear a lot of supervisors picking favorites. Because there is a bigger shipyard (PSNS) across town, many people leave to go to PSNS, so we ae often short staffed but management does not allow pressure of time schedules to trickle down to employees.
