      Overall Good Experience as a Software Engineer at Navan

      Pros

      I joined Navan few months ago as a Software Engineer. I must say I am very impressed with the current engineering leadership. They ensure that every employee has access to the latest tools to aid in development. Some of them include latest AI Tools like Cursor, Claude, Codex and Copilot to name a few. There is ample opportunity for company wide visibility of any major product launch that a developer works on. Also, tech leadership share guidelines for best practices for engineers from time to time. In addition Navan has a flexible work culture which provides opportunity for good work life balance.

      Managers who coach and care, strong onboarding and continuous learning; interesting problems with real user value, flexible work arrangements that respect life, and an inclusive culture with recognition for good work.

      Cons

      Rapid growth means processes change often, hiring can outpace enablement capacity, internal tools occasionally lag behind needs, time zones complicate collaboration, and compensation bands could be more transparent.
