      80-90 percent HIRE AND RETAIN thoughtful smart people PROVIDE career development, holistic help with internal praise and promotion DO creative tasks that make high impact and work together to solve problems

      Cons

      10-20 percent, bad apples... office politics w/ toxicity, brotopia abusers charming w/ their lingo/personality but really controlling/manipulative sociopaths that hold themselves a victim when exposed

      Was good, not anymore

      Pros

      move super fast (although at the cost of slight loss in quality) team is supportive and friendly free lunch and snacks excellent coffee office is very nice.

      Cons

      company is going IPO soon and they're doing all sorts of stuff to try and appease investors. random layoffs. good engineers are leaving or have already left. now is not a good time to join. there's also rampant favoritism on the engineering team. some people get a lot more PTO approvals whilst others are expected to not take more than a few weeks on a calendar year. staff engineers will go behind your back and snitch on you to your manager instead of giving direct feedback. also 4 days wfo.

      Great product, good tech-first approach

      Cons

      It’s impossible to be competent and also blindly loyal. CEO demands the latter, so the former is nowhere to be found after he ran out the experienced executives. The growth motion is a Ponzi scheme, demand has been led by incompetent and inexperienced middle management, and the CEO structure is a joke. There is just one competent leader on CSuite that could actually work for a public company. There is no real gen AI, expense product was never built, and there is an idea they can just plow their way to disrupting Concur or Amex GBT without the realization that the corporate travel industry hates them.
