Pros

Pay and benefits were ok

Cons

Too much political bickering, too many meetings, and over management/micro-management. This place has been going downhill for years. It keeps getting worse year after year. So many of the top experienced people have moved on or got laid off, still are too. It got especially worse when seasoned management either got fired or quit then got new inexperienced management. Their idea of management is make as many meetings as possible, come up with different ideas to manage people without any regard to how others would feel about it and come up with ways to disagree with others. Working here too long will stagnate your career. You'll find yourself working in old technology not used anywhere else doing the same kind of things year after year. Workloads are no good, no worklife balance. You won't feel valued. Complaining about these things accomplishes nothing.

Pros

The IT culture is very moderate. Everyone on my team and others is eager to help and willing to listen.

Cons

I feel somewhat isolated from other development teams and product lines.
