Pros

Help serve our service members.

Cons

There is no place to go. No education. Lack of respect from those around you. Lots of work with little reward including hours. Communication is not good. Support and supplies are hard to come by. There is more work than there are people scheduled which means that you are expected to pick-up the slack. Be ready to do more work than you are paid to do.

Pros

This company does put family first. If I've ever had a family situation to take care of they say not to worry about work, take care of your family. Also, a lot of really good people work here. It is a very diverse work place.

Cons

Dysfunction seems to be part of the culture. And because of the tough times for retail everyday is like a three ring circus, there is no sense of calm. Employees within departments are treated vastly different. Special favors seem to be given to certain people. Some departments let you work a compressed schedule or from home on occasion and others don't. Your annual review score of your performance isn't based on your performance. It's based on how much money they have to give you. So you may perform well but your score sucks because they don't have much money for your raise. We have some managers that are good people but they have no backbone when needed to stand up for their employees. Morale is terrible. Certain departments have absolutely no place to grow, once you are in your job you have no place to advance to.
