Job security, No booth rent, paid hourly

Cons

Licensed individuals make the same as high school dropouts, 52% Commission off of cheap haircuts, No Growth, Maybe Yearly raises, Overpayment and underpayment issues prevalent, Management varies, Mine would close down store or shop rather than upgrade associates to full time.

Tax free shopping was nice but the prices aren't any cheaper than Target, etc.

Cons

This is a retail job. Coming from a corporate environment where everything was structured and monitored, this place has none of that. Management does not hold employees accountable for anything. If you like working by yourself and doing everyone else's work because they call out 3 days a week with no repercussions, then you'll love it there.

Great benefits including pension and health care. Depending on what your job is, it can be enjoyable if the managers aren't belittling and power hungry

Cons

Computer Technology and electronic upkeep is very poor, gas pumps, registers and computers. No education to keep up with new car Technology. Getting new equipment takes years. Management is poor, employees are generally unhappy with their bosses.
