Pros

The other departments besides sales seem to have a great working environment. Founders day, Reunion and the company picnic were fun. Training was pretty good for my job at the time.

Cons

The sales team is treated like garbage, we were told we were street value, we were constantly lied to about advancement opportunities, Women are not welcome on the sales team, they are the Good ol boys network. We were constantly told we didn't work long enough hours, weekends became mandatory. Being sick or missing work to care for a sick child, or parent was frowned upon. I can say that on a couple occasions when someone was in the ER or out with a spouse giving birth to a child they were given a hard time by management and had their jobs threatened for lack of overtime hours. It was all about dials, quantity not quality. And Benefits HA HA HA it takes 1 of your 2 pay checks a month just to cover a family. Who can live on that? It is a joke how the sales team is treated.

Pros

The company offers great employee days, such as a free baseball game tickets for the whole company and their families. The company has a Code of Values that is constantly emphasized.

Cons

They offer poor medical insurance. The premiums are outrageous. While salary employees maybe able to afford the premiums, an hourly employee would not be able to.

Pros

Working at The Dwyer Group will give you a great appreciation for the employer you move to after. They also don't fill positions, so you will gain experience in a variety of different areas.

Cons

Management has an old-school way of thinking, and does not invite or appreciate new, well thought out ideas - the way they have done things for years has worked, so why change or update the process now? Hard work is not recognized, nor rewarded. There are a select few that receive credit for the whole team's work because they're the face of the department.
