I have been in marketing for 15 years and worked with companies of all sizes. Within that time, I have consistently heard the phrase "We have an amazing company culture." I have always found myself disappointed finding out the company culture is based on a lot of red tape or filled with a lot of micromanagers. When coming to Neil Patel Digital I didn't know what to expect, after all, I had heard the promise of company culture many times. I was seeking a startup that had a fun environment that I could grow with and learn from. After a year of being here, I can truly say this company has the most amazing and welcoming team. Our leadership team listens, is open to feedback (in fact they insist that in our yearly reviews we give ratings and specific feedback to them). If there is a problem, they don't wait for the gossip mill to start infiltrating the office, they take the team aside, talk it out, listen to the solution and decide on the action steps. Of course nothing is perfect, but what I feel is most unique is that our leadership team is devoted to learning and growing alongside the team.
