Pros

I have only been with Neiman Marcus for a little over a month, but I absolutely love working for this brand. It may sound cliche, it really does feel like a family. The people are genuinely interested in you, and management is genuinely interested in placing in situations that showcase your strengths. I’ve worked for companies that harp on your weaknesses with little-to-no positive reinforcement, but NM builds you up and invests in your development. I love it here, and look forward to seeing where my career goes with this brand.

Cons

I have only been with NM for a little over a month, and I, thankfully, haven’t experienced any downside yet.

Pros

Heritage and name recognition. Best luxury department store in the US in terms of reputation. Understands the luxury customer and has amazing in store restaurants.

Cons

Technology is outdated, needs to value work/life balance better, need to be able to have new fashion forward designers.
