Pros

Beautiful store. Store GM is great. PR is great. Some dept. Managers are good, most coworkers are helpful.

Cons

Few really bad coworkers ruin the environment. Not working as hard as others. Some workers receiving special treatment for being managers pet. No equal opportunities for all, management not facing the issues and definitely not supportive to grow into higher position. New HR not doing anything good for all staff, almost putting staff in fear, all staff is miserable not afraid to lose their job so they don't speak up. Very uncomfortable place at the moment. I've been here over a year and some people in the store have never even said hello to me. 15% Pay cuts. I've heard rumors of employees getting fired due to fellow coworkers ganging up and complaining on them so they loose their job. Very uncomfortable environment. Toxic, I wish I never worked here.

Pros

30% discount Employees are nice

Cons

This particular store is a waste of time it's the only last call in austin first they cut everyone's full time hours to 38 hours to avoid having to give benifits! Say you're scheduled 3:30 - 8:30 good luck leaving at 8:30 since they cut everyone's hours you could be there until the lights turn out and if you leave during your scheduled time you're fired! They don't keep their promises at all either if they hire you during the holiday season they'll tell you they're looking to hire temporary to part or full time that's all a lie as well they are only using you until the season is over so do yourself a favor and find a job at the main store or something

Pros

The people are great and very devoted to the customer-centric culture that permeates everything at Neiman.

Cons

Annual raises were very minimal. If the company isn't doing well, it's one of the first things to be cut, and I went a couple years with no raise.
