Pros

Employee discount, Neiman dollar rewards, learning latest fashion trends, meeting the vendors, product knowledge, health and dental benefits 401k plan

Cons

Commission based, associates will go to any lengths to make a sale. Management not at all helpful and plays favorites with higher selling associates. Long hours working days & nights, wknds & holidays. Same customer come in everyday in which case your expected to entertain them. No room for advancement in the company, and theirs always some reason why you can't take your vacation when you need to. Your basically a just a crab in a barrel. After 12 years with the company there was never any mention of a pay increase.

Pros

Great people to work around. Most are friendly and treat you like a person. Discount on additional discount days are nice.

Cons

Management does not want to listen to new ideas. It is evident especially when you look at the current business.
