Pros

Good Benefits and great customers.

Cons

Cosmetics manager favors people and dismisses the people who are actual salespeople. The old ladies in fragrance are clerks, not real sales people. They leave it to vendors to sell. They are harshly rude to the vendors and other employees. It’s very toxic and management does nothing about the old timers who stand around acting like they don’t need to lift a finger or help a customer unless to ring. One literally yelled at a very nice vendor for asking her to help the customer!!!

Pros

The people you work with are great. Diverse staff in photo studio.

Cons

Horrible benefits, They lowball everyone because they’re the only full time e-commerce studio in town. Turnover rate is high. They expect more from you every few months, When the yearly raises come, they think 2-3% is a raise. No career path. They want you to be happy in your position for 20 years. Employees working 8+ years will get paid less than new people coming in.

Pros

Good benefits for full time employees. Somewhat warm work environment.

Cons

Management and HR are an absolute joke and have no idea what they're doing yet the budget goes to paying basic revolving door managers six figure salaries and they don't even know how to use a register. There is hardly any training other than mandatory classes for them to push their app agenda which they are using to steal your clients with. Good luck selling anything because inventory is an absolute mess. There is very little room for growth unless they desperately need to fill a roll. If you get promoted, they will not compensate apropriately and in many cases still expect you to perform responsibilities of your previous position. They will work you like a dog without prioritizing breaks and find any excuse to fire staff with good work ethic including long time experienced and respected veterans of the company.
