Pros

Discount, Neiman Marcus Rewards, and free products from the vendors.

Cons

Management only cares about the top sales associates. They then run the management and control the stock, then you have to share your commission with them as well. Literally have seen sales associates argue on the sales floor in front of customers over a sale. The management has you call and text customers to come in and keep buying, the customers get annoyed.

Pros

Changed return policy to 60 days vs. unlimited. This should be better for Associates not to get commission reversal long after sale. Good employee discount -doubled several times a year. Health Benefits are decent.

Cons

Micro-management of client contact. Lots of busy work that does not produce sales. Commission only but expected to work like hourly Forcing focus off your own client list & how you have successfully run your business. Online NM drops gift cards, discounts everyday and 1-2 days before store promotion they have it online.

Pros

Luxurious environment, great products and perks. Employee Discount. Great Vendor Trainings.Work with some of the best brands in the beauty industry.

Cons

Sales/ return model works against the goals and expectations of the products specialists. Online business cannibalizing in store volume . Manages on favoritism as opposed to merit. Management needs to be more involved on the floor and enforce rules across the board to everyone.
