      Cosmetics is one of the most toxic, life-suckingly negative and ill-managed departments I've ever seen

      Pros

      Decent discount and mostly sane, loyal customers. There are some nice coworkers but theirs never seem to make it. That is all.

      Cons

      Cosmetic managers are biased, uninvolved and shirk any responsibility. Upper management seems to condone, partake and encourage this behavior. Pretty much a very "mean girl" mentality. One day they talk to you and love you, the next they won't even look you in the face. Communication is nonexistent, unless you call talking about vendors and other associates they manage count. Amy time I needed help, they were huddled in their office shopping online.

      Pros

      Their customer service philosophy is amazing, they truly promote a great experience for the customer.

      Cons

      You're not making any friends here, if you want to pay your bills. Very cut-throat in every department and forget about walking your customer to a different area. You have to split sales with anyone that says hi to them. Credit card goals are outrageous, we were expected to be very pushy.
