DONT DO IT

Pros

401K, Credit Union, Great for anyone who is a manager in the upper management's good graces.

Cons

Micromanaging (they write you up for being a minute early or a minute late). Lazy management (sits in back all day making personal phone calls and checking facebook). Doesn't coach up, only coaches out. Management creates their own rules and only follows procedures when convenient. Will transfer employees they like to help them be more successful. Unethical HR staff looks out for management more than the sales staff and fraternizes with management. General manager doesn't know sales associates names. Management punishes you for your numbers, but also prevents you from doing your job efficiently. You are graded for how many people you contact vs the quality of your outreach.

Pros

The only pro I can come up with is the company discount...which still doesn't make it affordable by any means.

Cons

Bad management. Long hours (0 work/life balance). No overtime pay. Forced to constantly be on call having to wake up in the middle of the night. Impossible deadlines. They can't keep anyone in the position it's so awful.

Pros

Very loyal and long tenured employees who really love working at NMG Very warm and gracious culture and leadership team (for the most part) Senior leaders care about the company and culture and listen to their people

Cons

The model that has been successful for them for over 100 years is not working so well, and they are really struggling to find a way to stay relevant and compete Leaders are not as mature and skilled as in other industries, and not sure they have what it takes to turn the ship around Pay towards the lowest end of the scale - very frugal in all things
