Pros

Flexible schedule, decent benefits, vacation and holiday pay. Opportunities to make bouses and possibly win trips. Best hours in the retail arena.

Cons

Extremely political and sometimes racist organization. Very keen on micro-managing sales associates. Straight commission with no hourly rate. Unappreciative management.

Pros

When the store is doing 30-30 discount, then you get 50% off all items in the store, sales items included.

Cons

Pathetic discount of 30%, lack of inventory, lack of customers, nasty customers, minimal return business and management that is mean and lies. Everything I was told at the interview was a lie: work hours, time off, Sundays, weekends, all of it. It's impossible to make the commission so you end of working long hours for a tiny paycheck. The management doesn't even know what you are told in training and have you do the exact opposite of what you are told. The other employees hate you the minute you walk in because you are their competition. They WILL steal your sales and make your life miserable.

Pros

Overall great retail job and experience. Make decent money selling off of commission. The company is very well organized. Discount at Neimans, along with an amazing employee discount sale (up to 60 percent off)!

Cons

Commission creates competition and moving up is difficult. Definitely political, but I was able to stay out of most of it. Drug tested when hired. Not much creative control unless you're the merchandising manager.
