not what it was cracked out to be

the discount was decent when we got a little extra on top really good product knowledge fun staff that made the experience bareable while working there

Cons

management complained about gossiping in the store among the staff when they themselves were the biggest gossip's of them all. walked in on numerous conversations of trash talking about employees. management also thought they were above the bar, would complain about dress code and make call outs when they themselves were not following the code hypocracy was rediculous fighting the no visa rule was a drag and "in the rears" was straight up criminal to charge the employees money

Discount is good (when you actually get the extra one) Sometimes get 'gratis' products Easy to get hired (as long as you pass a background and credit check)

Cons

Commission based compensation is horrible in the low season when no one is in the store Employees are blamed for this because they do not harass "their customers" enough by calling/emailing/texting them more frequently

Discounts on all items at Neiman Marcus Stores, used to be a flex scheduling but started micromanaging, Outlet sales twice a year with deep discount prices.

Cons

Micromanaged, didn't think you deserved to take any days off, no promotion potential, 25cent raises, would give favoritism to people they liked,
