      Pros

      Neiman Marcus is one of the top luxury retailers in the country. You are exposed to hundreds of fashion brands and companies that other luxury retailers cannot obtain. The experience you can obtain working for such a company cannot be matched in the luxury retail arena. Top notch training in merchandising, management & planning skills are gained when you work for Neiman Marcus.

      Cons

      The company isn't as competitive as it could be with salary & benefits. I feel other retailers have the edge. There's also a limited area of growth within the company once you reach a certain level.

      This is not a nice company to work for. I learned the hard way. Do not make the mistake I did.

      Occasional contests. discounts with partner businesses

      Cons

      You may have your civils rights violated, this is not an ethical company. Enter at your own risk. While there are some that thrive here, If you have any problems keep them to yourself as they could care less about you. Their turnover rate is very high for a reason.

      Pros

      Great portfolio work. Looks great on a resume but very stressful environment.

      Cons

      Pumping out work day after day with little to no encouragement, inspiration, time, breaks or rewards. Work many late hours. Management has is very poor at art directing their vision, thus creating multiple redo's and redirection until down to the wire, leading up to very long stressful hours spent on the job. No outside life.
