Location of the resort - obviously not within the employers control but it is the reason that I ended up leaving and relocating to a bigger city.

Nice people to work with, customers were always interesting. All retail workers had very short shifts on major holidays, which felt like a very fair and manageable solution since everyone wants to spend time with their families.

Cons

Occasional snobby customers. Sometimes felt like you were peddling expensive, but poorly made goods.
