Great people and opportunities. Great leadership provided by Senior Engineers. The pay is competitive and the benefits are good. Many good people have been attracted to NetApp, because of the "Great Places to Work" ratings.

Cons

Culture is being eroded by politics and layers of less than effective directors and VPs. Most of the good technical directors have left the company leaving behind technical leaders who are more political motivated than technically savvy.

New leadership at 2nd line manager levels spoil the culture High level of Micromanagement prevails, Too much process overheads and no clear vision or Roadmap Not as it was in 2010, very diluted and not a good place to work for now
