There was no personal growth, no upward mobility, horrible salary increases, poor review processes. As an example, they use laddering to rate every person and enforce the bell curve so if you have a small team, the curve is skewed and a team of top performers could not all be ones or twos.

Company shutdowns force one to use vacation days or take days w/o pay ... effectively reducing your salary. Process, process, process. Too much process. Nobody is empowered to do anything or make any decisions. Too many layers of management, most of it wasting resources already in short supply. Too much time and effort spent on meta issues and meta-meta issues. Too much emphasis on being nice and polite _all_ the time. No room for those that don't drink the Kool-Aid. Management too focused on managing Wall Street numbers. Too worried about "optics" and spinning metrics.
