Good Company

Pros

This is a good steady company with excellent benefits. The insurance is pretty good and the 401K is almost untouchable. They also regularly feed employees or offer gifts at special times of the year or when we are exceptionally busy to say thank you.

Cons

It seems like a lot of departments have a lot of comradery however I have heard other people (including myself) express either feeling overworked and under valued. It also seems that management comes and goes, and is picked more by who is your buddy than by who is qualified.

Somewhat job security by aviation standards

Cons

Compensation is quickly sliding down to the bottom of what industry pers make. Senior maintenance management is now a dictatorship, ran by senior maintenance management who can't perform maintenance themselves. A escalating mechanics union contract dispute. Experienced maintenance personnel are walking out the doors.
