Good training that leads to a good job
Pros
The job is 3 months training and then you get deployed to a different company where you work for 15 months and then will have the opportunity to be hired by them. - Quick hiring, I got the job within a few days of applying - Good training, the topics learnt are varied and it is half slideshows and half practical - During training you will make projects that you will be able to use in a github portfolio to show to other jobs in the future - Trainers are very helpful and actively encourage you to ask questions and for help if you are struggling - The working hours is good with a half day on friday - The company I got deployed to is a good company
Cons
- Have to stay on camera (and sometimes keep your mic on) the whole time - The training felt a little bit competitive at the times which made me struggle to concentrate and the people who had more experience would always win - The training is very intense so if you aren’t prepared to put in the work then you will struggle - You have to pay £6000 if you leave the job before 18 months is up (this does not include getting fired) - No benefits
